Christmas Pictures

It is official that 3:30 is the latest time to have an outdoor photo shoot. I went out with this family at 3:30 and by 3:50 it was already getting too dark. You can see the difference in these two pictures which were only taken 15 minutes apart.

The Hartly Family

Since I have been a photographer I have learned a fact about those gorgeous blue eyes that everyone envies. They are super prone to red eye. Something about being so light. Just a little detail I thought you would enjoy learning since we can't all have beautiful baby blues.

SunDown

The very last session scheduled for Friday was for 4:30, but there was a little hick-up with kids and traffic. The family was about 15 minutes behind and we were worried because the sun was just starting to dip below the horizon. The session lasted 15 minutes and was very hurried, but we were able to 'make it work' and find some fun shots in the dark background.

Family Special Photos

A few people have asked me if 20 minutes is long enough to do a photo shoot. All I have to say is, "It depends on the family." This family was so much fun to take pictures of. We were able to move quickly and capture several great shots in a short amount of time.

Justin Turned 1!

This adorable little boy was fun to follow around the park. He had an agenda of his own and I was just lucky enough to capture these fun photos of his journey.

A Walk In The Park

This family was so much fun to work with for our Fall Family Specials. They actually squeezed into my last session of the day at 4pm. It was a close one to be able to get enough pictures before the sun disappeared completely.

2nd Birthday!

Little Amy was so much fun to photograph! She was eager to frolic and play and smile for the camera.

Pictures in the Rain

I took pictures of a family on Monday afternoon... yes, when it was pouring down rain. We had to change venues and go to a little park with a couple of gazebos. It was a lot of fun and very wet.
